We launched a new church website this week. Check it out at norkenzie.net! What we’ve learned is that this online presence along with our social media serves as the ‘front door’ to the church. Our own experience tells us this is true… people will visit us online long before meeting us in person. We’re fine with that and want to provide a clear and compelling picture of who Norkenzie is becoming in life and ministry.
We also use norkenzie.net to communicate our hope that people will become a part of this community of faith in Jesus. We communicate what our values are and that we are for our city. We offer an invitation for people to connect with us when they are ready. Our goal for everyone is that we make friends and make a difference as we grow in devotion to Jesus.
Along with the new site is a new blog. We will soon turn the page into a new decade (2020s!) and our intent is to provide useful and thought-provoking content that will encourage the hearts of people.
There is more to life than just this life… there is new and eternal life offered in Jesus! But becoming and remaining a follower of Jesus cannot be done alone, so we offer ourselves to others to learn what we are learning. We are the church and we exist for those who are not among us yet. We are for this community. We are for Jesus’ Kingdom advancing in this world!
