Resetting Devos for 2021

God's Word is powerful and given to us for life change.

To thrive spiritually in the context of a culture that is in rebellion to the things of God, we need His ideas and the truth of His Gospel in our minds. We won't make it without them!

The Holy Spirit is a gift to all who are entrusting their lives to Jesus and He works powerfully through His Word. Do you want to know what God thinks? Do you want to be led by His Spirit everyday?

READ THE BIBLE.

'DEVOS' is short for devotions. We talk about having regular or daily devotions. This is a time to sit in God's presence, pray and read His Word.

Whether you are resetting a DEVOS habit or beginning for the first time, we want to help!

Often the daily question is "What should I read?"

There are many reading schedules, but we invite you to join the Norkenzie family in using the Life Journal reading schedule.

The Life Journal is beautifully put together and takes us through the Old Testament once and the New Testament twice in a year.

The Life Journal answers the question, "What should I read?"

What's great is knowing that the rest of us are reading the same passage that you are reading.

Use the Life Journal reading schedule along with your small group and you'll have a lot to talk about when you get together!

If you have a smartphone or tablet, find the Life Journal reading schedule on the Bible App. (You will need to download the app and create a YouVersion account, but it's worth it!)

Once you have the Bible app... join our 2021 Life Journal Group!

Paul wrote these words to the church in Rome:

"For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope." (Romans 15:4)

The Bible will teach us about endurance and give us the encouragement and hope we need.

Reset your daily devotions for 2021 and let's be people of God's Word!
