Norkenzie Christian Church
Psalm 48:10

"Like your name, O God, your praise reaches to the ends of the earth; your right hand is filled with righteousness."

Norkenzie Missions...

"Therefore GO and make disciples of all nations..." (Matthew 28:19)

"...and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." (Acts 1:8)

Norkenzie Christian Church has chosen to primarily support those ministries involved in "church-planting evangelism."  We have set as a priority, ministries to the nations  of the world that do not have any overt witness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ (unreached people groups).

  Jenny Batty
International

6409 SE 60th Ave.
Portland, OR. 97206
jenny.batty@uscm.org

Jenny returned to the United States in 2005 after a five year term with Campus Crusade for Christ in Siberia-Ulan Ude, Russia.  Her new position with Campus Crusade is in their Northwest Regional Human Resources Department, Portland, Oregon; having an emphasis on caring for international staff. She will serve as link between Crusade in the United States and those serving Crusade internationally, by sending resources to them; taking trips to minister personally to them; and recruiting others to join them.  Jenny will also speak to their supporters to help them gain a picture of what their missionaries do overseas.   Jenny hopes to narrow the gap, between the missionaries and the supporters back home.

We are excited about all the new things that God has in store for us in Arizona.  We are working with the existing Education and Reading camps.  Kids come from the reservation and the inner city, to participate for a week long camping experience.  We also have a deep burden for the Native young adults, college age adults and young families.  So we look for ways to mentor and disciple these groups ... Kimberly is teaching piano lessons and I am starting various sports programs.  We thank you for your prayers, love and financial support.

Assisting Ministries was established to provide service and education for missionaries in far away lands and here in the United states.  Service is provided through many projects while Biblically based educational support and teaching is given to students, pastors and congregations. We make visits to mission stations throughout the world, such as Papua New Guineea, Brazil, Ukraine, Africa, India, Mexico, Central America, New Zealand, Australia and Asia, often bringing provisions of daily necessities, medical, dental and office supplies, along with skilled professionals. "Missionary Man" and "Missionary Mouse" disciple children through visits to their home church and through the newsletter "Memos".  Hundreds of children are receiving the newsletter each month.

Chile

Casilla 27, Villa San Pedro
Concepcion, Chile
Sud America

Boca sur, where Vic and Pam work, is a poor urban area in Chile.  During their first term in Boca Sur, Vic and Pam purchased, remodeled, and furnished a house to be used as a church.  They now have a core group of believers, with a ladies bible study, a youth group and a Sunday school program.  In May 2005, they began preparations for Luis and Sonia Perez to become the full time leaders of the congregation in Boca Sur.  They also are preparing the church to become self-sufficient, by evaluating the possibility of opening a day care center at the church to generate the needed revenue and by continuing the work of preparing Chilean pastors and leaders by teaching them in the bible institute.  Vic and Pam also partner with a Chilean missions agency in a new work in the northern city of Arica.  The Arica work will focus on the preparation and training of Peruvian pastors and leaders.

  Craig & Allison Fowler
Ethiopia

137 Bradley Gouge Rd.
Johnson City, TN. 37604
acfowler@juno.com

Craig and Allison work among the Gumuz people, one of 70 ethnic groups in Ethiopia. These people live in rural, undeveloped areas with limited accessibility. They are subsistence farmers and herders with strong family ties. Their religion is tribal animism and they have little contact with the outside world. CMF missionaries have established eight churches with nearly 2000 members among these people south of the Blue Nile River, but there is only one small struggling church, separated by distance and natural barriers from the other churches, north of the Blue Nile. This is where Craig and Allison feel called to go, and have been appointed by the Christian Missionary Fellowship Board. There they plan to establish a community health clinic, do evangelism and church leadership training. They hope to have raised the necessary support by the summer of 2005 and be able to leave for the field.

Jeff and Courtney Hogue have been serving the Lord in Cambodia since July 2000.  After language and cultural study in Phnom Penh, they moved to the northern province of Preah Vihear in early 2003.  Jeff and Courtney are now in transition, moving to a different province near the Thailand border.  they will draw from their experience with a "livestock bank" to help Cambodian Christians make a living through livestock.  Livestock is borrowed from the bank and when they reproduce, a few newborns are put back into the livestock bank to help other herds get started.  The Hogue's passion is to work with Cambodian Christians so that they may grow in the Lord and develop a vision to reach their own people.
